Please notify the rectory when a parishioner is confined to the home due to sickness, infirmity or age. Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion will visit and bring Holy Communion to shut-ins on a weekly basis at the request of the parishioner. The parish priests make bimonthly calls to shut-ins. The rectory staff will call the day before a priest’s visit to schedule a convenient time.
The Sacrament of Anointing of the Sick is administered in church after the 9:30 am Sunday Mass before the altar of Our Blessed Mother. The sick will be anointed before admission to a hospital; the elderly because of a weakened or disabling condition; and all whose illness shows a need for strengthening through the power of the Holy Spirit and the prayers of the Church. Anointing is also encouraged for sick children who have sufficient reason to be strengthened by this sacrament. Please gather before Our Lady’s altar directly after the 9:30 am Mass each Sunday.
