St. Andrew's PREP seeks to foster mature faith, aiming to enrich individuals at their particular level of development. The PREP program is careful to present the Christian message in its entirety. Like other pastoral activities, catechesis must be understood in relation to Jesus' three-fold message: to teach, to build community and to serve. Those children who do not attend Catholic schools are encouraged to enroll in PREP. At least two years of instruction are required for public school children to receive the sacraments of Reconciliation, Holy Eucharist and Confirmation. Classes are also available for special education children.
Normal Meeting Schedule: Religious education classes are held on Monday evening from 6:45 to 7:45 pm in the Lower School Building, September through May.
Time Commitment of Volunteers: 1 to 2 hours per week.
